The Art of Deliberate Creation: Your Journey to a Dream Life

At a recent seminar, Dr. Mani Pavitra began with a strong message regarding the science of deliberate creation. It’s not merely wishing things into existence; it’s about deliberately making choices on a daily basis to create the life you desire. As she described it, our wishes—to be happy, to possess more, to be hungry for more—are all a part of a conscious process. We can’t select happiness by being unhappy, or abundance by being unhappy. The ability to manifest anything we desire is in our hands, yet it takes us to be on purpose.

What is the Process of Deliberate Creation?

The key to deliberate creation is the decision we make in the moment. How do we decide to be happy, grateful, or prosperous at this very moment? Dr. Pavitra underscored the point that if we are unable to notice and cherish the small and large things happening for us today, it won’t happen tomorrow. It’s this consistent place of being thankful and hungry for more that is the secret to huge creation. She told a personal story that beautifully illustrates the point.

A Powerful Lesson in Deliberate Creation from Dr. Pavitra's Day

Dr. Pavitra spoke about a day when she was tired and frustrated. She had a goal of completing a webinar presentation but got hijacked into a chain of unplanned, high-pressure meetings. Her day was a blur of talks on establishing an investment fund, meeting a merchant banker, and even an American company talking of a humongous 127-floor housing complex in Philadelphia. At the end of the day, she was exhausted, hadn’t even completed her presentation, and hadn’t had time for her kids. Her head began to berate her, getting her to feel like a failure.

Though, she stopped and thought about what she had actually done. This change in mindset was a moment of great realization. She had prepared a pitch deck for a closed-door investor meeting with more than 40 of the largest investors in Hyderabad—individuals who have invested in firms like Zepto. When she looked at her day from this new vantage point, she saw that it was a “day where dreams are made of.” Discussing investment funds and U.S. real estate is what people aspire to do. Yet, her initial focus was on what didn’t work. This experience told her that an important part of deliberate creation is that our viewpoint is everything.

The Optimal Vantage Point for Deliberate Creation

Dr. Pavitra spoke about the “optimal vantage point,” a mindset that magnifies your creations like crazy. This is where you’re on the edge of what’s about to be, full of excitement and positive expectation, but not hampered by the blocking feelings of impatience, disbelief, or unworthiness. This is the science of conscious creation in its finest form. She noted that we often do the opposite: just as something is about to manifest, we fall into doubt, feeling unworthy or not good enough.

To be a conscious, powerful creator each day, we need to create ourselves consciously each day. This means getting up and deciding what we intend to create, and before bed, feeling thankful for what we have created and looking forward to more. This is what assists you in creating the largest things.

The Mindset for Deliberate Creation

Our thought process directly influences our actions. Dr. Pavitra shared that she is always thinking like a “hardcore, serial entrepreneur and investor.” This mindset drives her daily activities, from creating pitch decks to meeting with high-profile individuals. Similarly, a trainer’s to-do list would be focused on things like answering FAQs, creating ads, and making lists. The point is that the focus at the start and end of each day should be entirely under your command. This is where methods such as the “3, 6, 9” approach to goal writing can assist in moving your intentions into line.

Dr. Pavitra reported her own achievement with this method, explaining that a dream she had for the first time three months prior—to create a ₹10,000 Cr. company—is now taking shape. But even on the verge of this great triumph, she felt herself briefly slipping into a criticism of what hadn’t yet been achieved. This reveals that the struggle is pervasive, and consciously grounding oneself in gratitude is an ongoing practice.

Student Success Stories through Deliberate Creation

Students then presented their own stories, illustrating the applied practice of such principles.

Mrugesh celebrated 58 days of continuous gyming and 12,000 steps. He also celebrated a victory in his thought process, where he deliberately considered a product purchase, opting out of a probable liability. He is now Entrepreneurial in thinking, pitching a customer to let him operate their advertisements for a per-product fee, a clear cut example of thinking big.

Maushmi Samant had an amazing victory: she closed a ₹35 crore deal, done to registration and all. This is a huge win and was greeted with cheers and congratulations.

Kalyani T felt unhappy and betrayed when expressing a concern. She was working on a per-hour basis but was discovering clients were going cold feet, making her feel trapped and unable to refuse. Dr. Pavitra confirmed her emotions, saying that betrayal is an indication that you may not be in the best place. Nevertheless, she rewrote the scenario to entreat Kalyani to dwell on gratitude for whatever she has at present instead of the anticipated reality that isn’t manifesting. This was left as a compelling task for Kalyani to do prior to their next session.

The session ended on a note of accountability. Dr. Pavitra encouraged people to share their daily wins in their groups, again pointing to the power of celebrating wins and keeping a positive focus. The word is out: the art of deliberate creation is a lifelong path of conscious decision, gratitude, and a magical thinking mindset.
